Boris Johsnon, Jo Johnson and the President of Human Rights .....
Boris and Jo Johnson must be proud of their dad too, he is President of the European Commission of Human Rights.
The thing is, when first looking at all the information available on all three gents, one finds a lot of associations with arty left-wing culture, plenty of champagne and hardly anything that doesn't appear half-baked or poorly thought out - Jo Johnson MP (Conservative) is married to a Guardian columnist (socialist newspaper in the UK) and they do all appear to have had a huge influence, as a family, on the European Commission on Human Rights. James Fawcett penned, in 1979
'Intervention to protect minorities '
...a copy of which can be found here
We can only be grateful to him for that?
Sir James Fawcett is reported to suffer Parkinsons disease. Treatment is improving all the time, lets hope the Johnson family will wake up to to the more pressing maters of today rather than romantic yesteryear at some point in the not-too distant future for the sake of health, clarity, truth and justice?
Article 6 of the Human Rights Act reads
Article 6: Right to a Fair Trial
2. Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
and we have always had Habeas Corpus - in fact if law were implemented judgements would now be overturned due to judges themselves not abiding by either ECHR nor UK legilsation (made - primarily- by themselves (!!))
Sir James wrote:The Impact of Art 6(1) of the ECHR on Private International Law (2007)
'A new approach is needed which takes human rights more seriously.'
A hybrid human rights/private international law approach should be adopted. The first stage of this requires the court to ascertain whether, in the circumstances of a particular case, there has been, or there is a real risk that there will be, a breach of Article 6 standards in England or abroad []. The English courts should act in a way that ensures that they are not in breach of Article 6 standards. In the areas of greatest risk of encountering a breach of Article 6 standards, this can be achieved by using existing private international law concepts of public policy and the demands of justice.'
'Could the Brussels Convention or the Brussels I Regulation be found to be in violation of the European Convention of Human Rights (ECHR)?It makes you wonder how come we've had so much disaster in the UK- with so much influence like this - when Boris' dad was so influential at the ECHR, and so surely could have sorted out a few problems we'd had in the UK?
Of course Cherie Blair - wife of beloved Tony Blair- of Matrix Chambers- is or was also a Human RightsLawyer ........................
.....you see all we can find - when you strip away the title of 'Conservative' is the title 'Lawyer' and we want to move away from having lawyer in charge of anything?
I don't think the Johnsons are intentionally evil, I think they believe they are good, they seem nice, they just don't appear to understand neglect of duty of care or that scheming against innocent and good people, is actually an evil thing to do - but I don't expect they sit still long enough to understand precisely how they are damaging so many lives? - maybe?
