Missing son - RBKC, Jamie Jones - Autism - London - where are you sweetheart?

My poor son Jamie is out there with his 'carer' daddy who always used to say 'I own him' and 'of course we own him' and 'I own you' - no. I didn't even want to marry the guy, not at all. It was anything to stop him hurting me was all. He proves what a neanderthal psychopath ape he is by withholding my son as he always said he would - no reason given other than 'I own im' just a big ape, short legs, ugly face and a nightmare to know, this is who my son has to be forced to live with? I'm sure my son has better things to say about his dad but I'd wager - not many. Poor son is forced to be with such a violent and uncaring male when he is a soft and gentle soul in need of love and his own space. I expect he is used to being spat at and screamed at and forced to do all manner of things he doesn't want to do. For this you can thanks Anne Lehane of the legal department of RBKC who saw to it that I would always suffer, despite my proving she put false evidence in front of judges. What a horrible thing they did to us and how vile and horrible of them to cover it all up - absolute abuse and the truth swept away by horrible people who took the money and ran and left innocent good people to suffer a lifetime of hell thanks to their lies and greed. RBKC is a beautiful place but it has a sinister side and hopefully now - with news of new investigations - the truth will come out and the good police will feel less 'hands tied' and more able to investigate unhindered. I know how deep the lies go but the good cops are doing their best to be fair and investigate historical abuses now - lets hope they feel no fear as they go for it. All of it. Can't wait but the cogs turn so slowly, one has to be patient. I just hope my poor darling Jamie is OK and not too ill. Sending love to you my darling son, hope things are not too awful but I know things cannot be too great considering your dad thinks he can see Satan telling him what to do (twat was on drugs) Can't be good. Welcome to my home, I trust this finds you well and look forward to

Could we try an emergency  pilot scheme for ID cards in the Borough due
to the arrests of several suspected terrorists locally recently?

I believe, and have always believed, that ID cards would be of enormous
benefit in reducing crime and preventing mass murder, trafficking and
other horror and believe we must now act as if an emergency is at hand.

 I hope you agree and in order to maintain eminent sense , could we
please have an online consultation service for residents, it need cost
nothing st all but a half an hour to set up (happy to advise, gratis) -
all taxpayers invited to urgently participate in security information
and forum input for the safety and security of the neighbourhood.

I think it was 2008-10 when I petitioned the government to introduce ID
cards- at the time, oddly,  Harriet Harman was the only one making any
sense in this area - the cards would out paedophiles and criminals
galore - let's help our police and other services today and introduce
ID cards for residents of less than 8 years.

That way we can ID where the worst offenders are and detect what
they've been up to. We need to do this 10 years ago - would have saved
lives and helped everyone good.

Sadly - it only serves corruption and criminals not to have them at
this time. Let's get them in overnight - and review them in four-five
years - for the sake of YOUR security - let's say YES to ID (as the
no's argument holds no water at all, not when implemented in this way)

  Number 10 are aware they are coveting criminals with their hedge
funds and illegal spending - UKIP will put this right -

further to my call of yesterday requesting your support to help me get a GP ( I a presently suffering a dangerous illness and being refused help from the PCT & ex GP no reason given) I have just heard the same PCT has closed funding on 'KCAA" (Kensington and Chelsea Advocacy Alliance) and am hurt but not surprised at what appears to be the act of an unscrupulous group of people working within RBKC and the PCT responsible for Kensington and parts of Chelsea; Unscrupulous due to their way of bringing things about. 
Protecting the boroughs' reputation is one thing, but becoming corrupt to do it is another, and sadly, corruption is what appears to be happening in some quarters of RBKC. RBKC used to a friendly kind and noble place to live, i have been here for 40 years. Now it is terrifying, with, in my view, heartless planning departments, and secretive rotten social work departments.
 
I wonder sir, if the social services have, for example, told you that my ex husband, the cause of me being housebound in terror, has our mute son, supported by social services, despite them knowing
 
1. [] [] extremely violent nature (convictions galore) 2. A child has died in this mans' care (Cosmo Steele, aged four 'cot death') 3. He has a daughter of aged 9 yrs whom was on the 'at risk' register for abuse from him 4. The same daughter diagnosed as autistic as a baby

Anna has punished me bitterly for many years for having once absconded with a hirsute piano playing snorty designer type (very reminiscent of the 'Getting Rid of Mr.Kitchen' protagonist by our lovely Charlie Higson (hugs))  from Chelsea Harbour. (wonder what happened to Jeff and Jeremy? Hugs pplz)

 I see some residents from there had a finger in the pie of Winterbourne View and Castlebeck. Exceptionally disappointing that owners of such delicate business didn't even bother checking up on service users, frail elderly and vulnerable disabled kids, to see how they were doing, or did they?

Too busy flogging stuff I guess. The snorty designer's name was Charlie, you could not make it up.  I had gotten  a wee bit judgemental on Annie for playng around with too may guys and cheating on them, and thought I'd teach her a lesson (having been heartbroken myself)  but when it came to it, I COULD NOT do the deed with Charles, much to the confusion of the Gucci-knickered hero who was actually quite decent and bought me a hotel room as I'd had a massive panic attack just before we were gonna do the deed - and couldn't face going home in case Annie hit me or something.  Long funny story reserved for dinner but anyway, mountains and molehills eh?

Successful and happy people live their lives in gratitude and servitude and learn to celebrate all life's little foibles and quirks. Libertarian Socialism as wot UKIP stands for (and Identity, big issue with me) so is certainly then, the perfect choice for the more discerning disabled, centrist.

One of the negative things to seriously consider though, aside from pain and terror (such as that inflicted by IDS) with disability, is suffering the maddening daily abuse of being undervalued and patronised.

 I know that Stephen Hawking would have something to say about this as would my own lovely son, Jamie - were he allowed to communicate about his bullied torture and other unbearable mistreatment and terror inflicted by RBKC legal department (please provide the info requested RBKC)  The corruption in RBKC runs deep, it's not just legal, there is trafficking and hate crime, misfeasance, conspiracy and more. All landing squarely at the feet of Conservative HQ, don't blame the oligarchs Norman, they have great taste in chandeliers, ask my friend Jess's husband - Tim Graves. He works for many an oligarch and is a delightful designer. Everyone in London loves chandeliers. Here's mine. Gonna alter it a bit and add some more crystals though. RBKC Social Worker Gnome - Bob McGavin - what a web you weaved, sue me (ADULT LANGUAGE)

Bob had one of those CONfabulated accents that sound a bit like James O'Brain off LBC  radio - a northerner always aspiring to be a Londoner and never quite making it. Sometimes I wish James would go back to his foreign hills of the black country and be a lefty there - he is taking up room in Chiswick (where I went to school) and will never lose that accent, he will always use it CONvincingly and it makes me feel a bit queasy and weepy at times. Why can't they hire a proper London lefty like Mark the Artist Taxi Driver?

Not that I'm intolerant or anything but I'd prefer listening to someone like Jules Holland or Chris Evans (whatever happened to Chris?) or Danny Baker. Someone who is actually a Londoner would be good and more representative of our capital. O'Brien would be good for Midlands BBC.  Sometimes he's OK. When not using obvious smarm and NLP seduction tips to get callers to ring in. I digress.

Years ago (circa 2003-4) I was attempting to participate in an old 'scientology' forum known as 'MSBP,COM' (screen shots being investigated) allegedly for mothers accused of harming children 'for attention' Clearly it was a place not just for mothers but for female psychopaths. Quite a few people suffered stalking and hacking after having joined the board. It created  a lot of upset and paranoia.

Having some sympathy for the issues both Penny Mellor and David Southall were bringing, I was rather intrigued by it all. There was no talk of NPD then (see Sam Vaknin)

There was however. a person using the handle 'searcher' - an IT professional who had been 'falsely accused' of paedophilia. Being into justice and hating paedophiles too, I wanted to know how this person thought. I am a behaviourist after all.

Long story short, searcher told me he was wanting children and always had wanted to be a dad. He was having a tough time with IVF stuff (Julia Hartley Brewer from LBC is experienced there) and had 'such a small dick, the wife turned lesbian'  He was very intelligent and funny and used to spend a lot of time with me. I was rather ill at the time and the story of that is really for another day - this is to establish why Bob told me that 'searcher' was 'class A convicted paedophile' when I requested info on the man. Well. I should have known better than to trust a bent social worker (sue me Bob) I know - but when searcher said I was 'bad little baby' during sex, it was a hysteria moment I swallowed. When, however, he held a photograph I didn't like, high above my head, as if I were three. it sent me nuts - confirmed - for me - this was a big bully - may well get pleasure from undermining little ones. Chased him out. Got a bag of flour, a tin of beans and duffed up his car. I'm still not certain but the offence he was 'convicted' of, was for looking at kids in a school, from his car, once. That does not make any sense though.

Over to you RBKC Police, CSA Earl's Court.  Meanwhilse, what is Mark up to?

Nonsense and Rifkind

I've recently observed a ton of nonsense obviously written by non-Kensington (forin) people blinded by anger, hurt and injustice. When you have been hurt and have no recourse to justice, it does make for wars of sorts. Perhaps that's been the intention of these type of psychopaths - look at the history of the Arms trade (and its intent) and who sells the hardware to whom, and you can then see (obviously) who is ethical and who isn't - but having said THAT - NHS, welfare and Defence is way big with my family  and friends. Britain always had her strength in a strong Navy. My ABSOLUTELY incredible father wasn't just RAF and CRAF, he was also RN and CRN (twice)  - was a commander (Figure it out) Dad sold aircraft and gold but learned when he got burned.

I am not as good at arithmetic as Malcolm is but my sums say we can up defence x 4 with no problems (having listened to the experts in military spending) - keeping us happily independent and industrious for many many years. So what's the problem? Who does Malcolm want running the show? Israel. Not Scotland (they booted him out of office in Edinburgh - pardon the turn there, written in haste) But he likes it. He goes home at weekends. He likes to keep his very tight knit mittens in all types of haggis.

 The thinking conservative is always pushing for more transparency and accountability vis a vis tax. So this begs the question; why is Malcolm wasting 90,000 odd on 'office space'? (Double take that one)  When the space belongs to Tory HQ?.  Does Malc own the Conservatives? The conservatives had their 'law office' professional contracted to them. Leaving RBKC entirely corrupted in favour of the conservative party. Corruption, no less.  That FACT is on record (was removed from RBKC site)  Looks like Tories have some questions to answer to some policey and military folks. And the merit? He's a very good accountant, not quite on  a par with Mail group of newspapers, but almost. Woof.

I'm not a warmonger, quite the reverse, my belief is that a powerful military force strengthens trade and tourism as well as providing strong identity whilst promoting self discipline and respect. Something all are commanding these days - when there is actually, little evidence that the word is understood.

Most nice Canuk cops (Hi C, hugs to all)  know that British is best - but maybe not when it comes to Israeli policing?  Even my old china, a security cop, had to leave the Met due to 'monsters within' - and he had no ulterior or strange motives, value Jaffacakes are big with him (and crumbled into breakfast oats with a cuppa tea is good mush)

Maybe we have to rethink and revisit our relationship with Israel and figure why it is flawed NLP that took the mickey out of UK taxpayers and destroyed the lives of millions of good working/not across the UK (the arrest of Iain Duncan Smith isn't a joke, it is being worked on in earnest, do you really think I'd kid about that? Case-law collusion only kids) ) as bad NLP is the main culprit here (aside from bad drugs and the NPD ambitious)  defending it's ego-over-skill dogma, sanctioning bullying and misfeasance - and a  Canadian knows that that's plainly wrong. So we have to take a look at the lines and where they are drawn and where the buck stops. With commissioning bosses. The heads. If the heads of legal are lying about qualifications (waiting for data) - maybe they are - what chance do we have for accountability? We pretty much  know who's culpable for a loraa loraa local crimes. So we look to RBKC new fraud and corruption policy and a slow clap ensues-  a vader proved the 'potential' (numerous) flaws in this good-for-the-myopic, dodgy-doc more associated effort thing here  (opens .Pdf)

 Right - well the Gorski blog is interesting (evening) - comments awaiting moderation are mine (below) *Thought: Now one item was dentistry - my poor lad had a bad tooth too - the services in RBKC were not available and not helpful at the time they swiped my lad- seemed a bit like sabotage - very severe learning disabled kids also freak/run/bolt/panic/fit/and otherwise flip at the dentist (so do fkn I, so you can imagine if some poor sweet kid doesn't know what the hell some c*nt is doing in their mouth? See Angelman or Down's Syndrome kids for associated problems) for most SLD kids you need special dentistry - many of us mothers have found dentists to be fans of BDSM and Levayanism too - so it is all a worry -but you do have to check the motives behind such things.

'For the sake of justice, medicine and truth – all you have really said is prove that genetic testing should always be done as a matter of course when ASD is involved and that all inconclusive results be considered and reviewed e.g ‘Angelmans could not be ruled out’ and also – as in our case – blood was incompatible (according to a few old records) and we should have been alerted the child would be born with disability. email format dated 2006, the circumstances are worse (attachments

Dear Miss Downes [HM Courts] & Sir Rifkind,

please file the letter (below this) and attachments - I do not have
email addresses for Harris Temperley or CAFCASS.

I am requesting a public inquiry,

Dear Malcolm Rifkind,

I am writing to request you call for a public inquiry into the care
order that affects my son, Jamie Jones, and myself.
It's been a campaign of hate and cover-ups, conspiracy to pervert
justice, and as Mr.Simon Tyler (a friend and director of [mencap]
Equal People KC ) said to me 'it is [case against me] completely
criminal';

This case against myself has been brought, in my belief, to
cover-up peadophilic crimes against my son, whom is mute and
vulnerable, and I am continued to be villified due to the criminal
withlding of information, conspiracy and perjury of social workers
and CAFCASS involved.

Even to date, outrageous claims such as 'Jamie is still unable to
form a stool [age 13] ' by the current social worker. Erika
Endlien, makes it obvious that there is a major problem there.

I never had preconceived ideas as to what was wrong with my sons
tummy, he often appears to be in discomfort/pain and is widely
reported he 'grabs at' and 'clutches' his guts, and does not 'form
stools' the consistency of stools are not normal, this was
considered to be (after much investigation and endoscopy) to be
inflammatory bowel disease by consultants at the Royal Free
Hospital (2000) or the cause 'behavioural', by CAFCASS and social
workers (current) .

The gut problem I can NOW see from looking at records, coincides
with Jamie beginning attending the Little House Respite Care
facility, and the social worker Tim O'Neill becoming involved, and
from there him building a case against me I believe to cover his
own guilt of attacking my son sexually, I believe my sons' gut
problem to be the direct cause of sexual abuse from this man.

I am requesting a public inquiry and a public police inquiry into
all available evidence .

I wish to inform the police and others of facts:

1. Attached self explanatory letters (sent separately in this
instance via website 'write to them'

2. The social services were aware of how vulnerable we were, Tim
O'Neill specifically
was written to on 6th March 2001 (three months before my sons'
removal)
my GP wrote ''..I have today been in touch with Tim O'Neill to let
him know Miss Lucy may need increased support for Miss Lucy at this
time (see letter attached) there followed an assessment with Anne
marie-Wilson and Lettie Blythe (RBKC social workers) in April 2001.
The outcome of the assessment was kept away from the courts, vital
evidence that the social services were well aware of our extreme
circumstances of that time. Despite the fact that BY LAW at that
time, as a carer and as a disabled mother of a disabled child, we
were entitled to a an *implemented care-plan* - we had NO CARE
PLAN.
The result, in my view is *neglect of duty of care* on behalf of
social services being to blame for the situation I found myself on
June 10th 2001. Also kept from the courts were my exchanges with
complaints manager Jane Dykins, where I had requested Mr.O'Neill be
arrested for causing me 'actual bodily harm' by knowingly causing
me added stress by calling me constantly and providing terrible
services which he knew I had to complain of (eg sending different
carers each week to take my son to the park, these carers had no
police checks, were unqualified and could have been anyone, I
refused to allow my son to go with these strangers)

Another time a former RBKC social worker was provided to supply
overnight respite when I specifically requested NO overnight
respite but was refused (by Mr.O'Neill) ALL respite unless I
complied with overnight respite- I had to cancel it as Jamie had
reportedly attacked the former social worker (and my son is an
extremely placid and biddable boy, in my opinion incapable of
attacking anyone) - in short, this whole order began with the
criminal intent of Mr.O'Neill to sabotage myself and my parenting
in order to have access to and continue to abuse my child.

I am being 'eugenically' ordered to have (unquantified) 'therapy' I
believe this violates my human rights.
I have agreed to do anything at all to comply with social services
- it is well recorded. I can't agree to more than 'anything at
all'.

Instead they determine to continue to violate our rights by not
allowing us a family life, by not adhering to the original
judgement in any event (please see LSC letter attached *) - I do
not believe I have had a fair hearing since having to represent
myself, I am unwell and I have been forced to be a
litigant-in-person due to being entirely unable to secure the
services of a solicitor despite repeated attempts to secure
assistance from the law society, Resolution (family law solicitors)
etc etc.

Recently my parenting was applauded in a letter to me from social
worker Erika Endlein, who though lied about my flat being a bit of
a mess 'with toys and papers' - I have to remind her I have film of
her visit, and confirm my flat is often untidy, I call the British
public to answer if this is a crime that should deprive me of my
child?

Bearing in mind these facts and also the laws regarding the
acquisition of an EPO and it's legality at the time (taken without
informing me, me having voluntarily called police and social
services on june 10th 2001 for HELP and if it and it's rider
attched (police statement on application of EPO) be looked at you
will see it's contradictions also. In fact my son was placed in
VOLUNTARY CARE, and EPO was *entirely* unecessary and yet another
tool used to vilify me, Mr.O'Neill, again, was the instigator of
the unnecessary EPO (emergency protection order').

At no stage ever was I given a chance of rehabilitation, assistance
or support.

No effort AT ALL was made to keep my family together, I was at the
time (according to my GP) 'acutely grieving [my] mothers death' see
letter attached * (consequently had two years counselling with
CRUSE' bereavement care)

Major lies and evidence (such as the extent of my ex husbands'
[very] criminal activity and violence especially) were kept from Judge
Moorehouse and subsequent judges, that I had not the wherewithal to
place the evidence, [snip]
to be able to represent myself is in fact a violation of natural
laws, disability and human rights laws.

I hereby request a public inquiry into this ongoing case (where
even social services own solicitor admitted to me to withholding
evidence) the evidence I have requested you look at and that my son
be returned to my care forthwith,

Dear Data Access & Compliance Unit,

Kate- with the local authority 'owning' (so refusing) the CAB and
all other charities in the area my son has NO VOICE And neither do
I - we cannot get leggal assistance in this regard, it's causign a
lot of horror. I hold the leader of the council responsible for
any/all harm that has happened to my son since 1991, before he was
born (due to medical facts posted in files online that will be
released in due course) to date. That's on record. They are
behaving criminally at RBKC, no matter what it looks like, they
have committed horrific crimes. They know what they've done.

thank you so much for your vist/s and letter, the

sentiment is appreicated indeed, I do not use a

wheelchair and am fighting very hard to stay out of

one.

If this about wanting to get me out of my home, you will be dealing with armed forces of whom I have many friends whom are willing to die for me (and you if you remain loyal to British values). They are lovely people and no, I am not moving for anyone or anything, all cons are very tiresome to me, seen them all. I am a behaviorist. Thanks. Where is my son?

I found the courier whom delivered your letter had

pushed over my room-divider, it was regarded as an act

of violence and one I have come to know from RBKC

staff. Due to the lies and violent hatred and

injustice, the kidnap of my son. the withholding of

medical help, and the blocking of services and the lack

of access to justice, I have to ask you to go ahead and

make a court order to indtrude in my life, I have no

wish to be forced to endure more hate from RBKC and

simply wish for some peace, it's is my view it is not

too much to ask that I have apology and respite from

sheer torture of which your department,is clearly very

guilty.
In short, I am not avaiable for any visits ever, unless

a judge orders it, and would only respond to aplogy,

compensation and a lot more respect/lack of torture,

RBKC is in violation of all known law, I refuse to

entertain draconian action against a lone person doing

her best to protect the freedoms of the British against

a tyranny of greed, perversion and drugs from RBKC

management.

I find any unsolicited communication from RBKC a violation of liberty and offensively anti-British.

I still maintain I could run RBKC for free, part-time, from my death-bed, if asked, and I gaurantee there would be no complaints. *Note to management - end the crookery, end the cons, it's all noted.

Corruption, RBKC, Conservatives - William Hague

As a post script to my last post, William Hague called for the running of children's homes to be taken away from local authorities and handed over to churches, charities and businesses. Yet the Conservatives in RBKC own/owned them all anyway, and RBKC is where Conservative HQ is. Hypocrisy? Corruption? You decide.  Meanwhile, how to address the victims?

I would also like to ask you to please investigate the incestuous nature of
RBKC. All charities bar one are subsidised- but always threatened with
funding withdrawal if a client of subsidise charity
should take the authority to court. This is a means of defeating the most

Dear Madam,

Please pardon my temerity at writing and for this intrusion.

I'm writing as your servant and distant- relative (De Lucy, Robillard, Champagne) and as the daughter of J.G.L Robillard whom was decorated (by your father) for his efforts as a pilot with the CRAF and RAF during WW11.

Please review family court lawyers and judges acting 'in your name' - they are accountable to nobody (no governing body) and acting, in some instances, as power-crazed (sorry for the strong language) but they ought be judging their findings on evidence when at the moment they depend heavily on the words of social workers (children's services as of April 2007 also have no governing body) whilst all parties whom truly benefit (bar parents involved) are legal departments, all of whom make huge profit often with the hapless parent unaware of why children are taken from them etc .

 In an effort to understand this,  I took six months of university reading social sciences and dropped out due to is heavy bias toward communism and my refusing to put my name to work I was ordered to plageurise (communist bias)

 Also the training of social workers is often popular psychology (most is hypothesis very far from any fact) yet learned men and women willingly accept the view of these people, employed in your name, over that of your citizens and friends that actually know the families involved, wishing for fairness and openess in your public family courts, for their friends (eg friends - up to 20 in some cases, go to court as witnesses for the parent, but the power of authority to rule, outweighs that of any justice)

It would be refreshing to see such judges not depending on their perception of psychology e.g. a scoundrel knows to 'show remorse' (crocodile tears) will often release him from charges. This is common knowledge and I believe the judiciary are aware of this only recently.

 Sadly I have personal tragic experience of these public family courts and despite informing my MP (Sir Rifkind) very little appears to be done to stop the local authorities simply being able to march into any ones home and 'kidnap' children for the sake of filling the needs of job placements, such as permanent adoption and fostering officers and departments.

As a disabled mother and previously an actress, I am sad to find myself an unfortunate campaigner for public family law reform.
This job, separating families, surely ought to be one of a community, including free legal support for a parent in such a plight, as well as impartial support for the child? Too much communist influence is determining the lives of the British people as far as I can see.

The Children Act ultimately says 'the paramount interest of the child' but surely the abuse of that statement- leaving judges to disregard fact eg hundreds of hard fact evidence due to  a social worker or two urging it, is contrary to the paramount interest of the child?

Claims that children were physically and sexually abused at a care home in West Sussex are "in all probablity substantially true", according to social services investigators.

The allegations centre on the privately-run Barlavington Manor care home, in Petworth, which took in children from the London borough of Kensington and Chelsea between 1966 and 1984.

The report says the allegations are probably true

A report commissioned by Kensington and Chelsea Council says the home's proprietors, John and Anna Ellis - who are now both dead - and at least one member of staff, were not suitable people to look after children.

The 145-page document - which was made public at Kensington and Chelsea Town Hall on Thursday - reports the findings of an inquiry into the home.

The investigation was sparked when 12 former residents claimed they had been assaulted and forced to endure mental abuse, hardship and neglect which went undetected by social workers.

Children used for unpaid labour

The 12 said Mr and Mrs Ellis verbally humiliated the children in their care, provided an unacceptably low standard of food and clothing, and used children as virtual slave labourers.

They are alleged to have used the money paid to them by social services to maintain their own lavish lifestyle.

At least one member of the home's staff is accused of sexual abuse.

Other complaints included inappropriate action taken over children's sexual development, with girls as young as nine being put on the pill or being given contraceptive injections.

Girls needs for sanitary towels or tampons were either ignored, or dealt with publicly in a way that was cruel and embarrassing, it found.

The report concluded that all 12 former residents considered their lives were at best blighted and at worst ruined by their experiences at Barlavington Manor.

Moira Gibb: "Local authorities didn't have the power or the duty to inspect children's homes"

Former resident John, 33, who lived at Barlavington Manor for just under 10 years, told the BBC: "I just haven't functioned as an adult at all. I haven't kept a job for more than six months, and I have been in and out of hospital and on medication."

Now a group of former residents are considering legal action against the council.

More than 30 chidlren were sent to the home by Kensington and Chelsea borough council. Barlavington ceased to be a care home in 1984.

In response to the allegations, Conservative leader William Hague has called for the running of children's homes to be taken away from local authorities and handed over to churches, charities and businesses.

He said a "fundamental rethink" of the care system was needed following critical inquiries into council-run homes in Hackney, Staffordshire and North Wales.

Current director of social services at Kensington and Chelsea council, Moira Gibb, told the BBC that when the abuse took place, private children's homes were not subject to inspections.

Homes were not inspected then

She said: "The report highlights that the failures were on the part of the proprietors of Barlavington Manor.

"Local authorities didn't have the power or the duty to inspect children's homes, that's come in much later."

Mr Ellis died of a brain tumour and his wife died in a road accident.

At the time, then new Liberal Democrat chief Councillor Keith Moffitt added: “It goes to show how meaningless the awards that have been heaped on Camden are".

In March 2007, Moira Gibb (who is still in post) again tried to silence public criticism, this time from Councillor Keith Sedgwick who was calling for the sackings of housing department staff over the fatal Southampton Road estate wall collapse in January 2007, which it is alleged occurred despite previously reported poor construction and maintenance.

Again, in 2007, Head of Finance, John Baptiste was imprisoned for the long term undiscovered theft from vulnerable Camden residents over lengthy periods. Local press has frequently reported such incidents. Also in 2007, theft from the deceased by Camden Council property clearance teams have been reported. For instance, evidence that antiques cleared from a dying 92-year-old’s flat were later sold has been uncovered. No known action has been taken against any of the participants, and nor has the Council indicated any changes in staff, internal structure or practice to prevent such abuses.
