Bri left us. April 1st 2013. Shouldn't have. I miss him so much My big brother. He was a truly lovely guy. He was big in Canada for creating and playing in bands like The Rabble and The Haunted. Brian organized rock concerts in Ottawa and Montreal. He did the road-trip thing and really lived. After a really bad trip though, that caused him years of extreme emotional agony, and after a very troubled and scary childhood, he worked hard with British Airways and then studied and became a piano and guitar teacher and piano tuner. He gave me my guitar, had to tune it (still can't) and though I can't play well,, I've had a riot strumming and singing with it. He loved Bach and the Blues. Moody Blues, Muddy waters and BB King were among favourite bands. My older bro Rick also used to hang out with Eric Burdon in Earl's Court, often at the Cromwellian. I met Eric a couple of times as a nipper, once in Dino's, Earl's Court Road. Sure it's still there.. As a friend said fairly recently 'music funds my life' us too doll.
