How To Save Your Sanity!

The Evil Ones and Your Old Computer - GOLD

If you're struggling and distraught (extra mental) with lagging or pages not loading in Firefox or Chrome - it could be your javacript that's the real issue. Javascript is
an old computer script that still can be useful (most conscious folk use html5 instead now) but if you don't want the lagging and 'script kiddies' bothering you quite so much then it might be wise to do the following:

Remember to do important work offline, and save work immediately before uploading. Flashing and crazy computers are the result of very stupid and criminal kids who are usually sociopaths. They want you to
freak totally, be very upset and ill, make you cry and make you lose all your precious and hard work. That IS their goal - aside from downright theft. GOOD NEWS - There are alternatives to angry and sad nervous breakdowns!

Protect yourself as best you can, and switch off from the plug until you can calmly address the problems. Do something else.

Remember that once the modem is off and the computer is not connecting through the wifi, you can work on being calm. Try some rain sounds, 'white noise' is great for trauma.

1. Turn off javascript (not java, they are different) in Firefox (don't be afraid, I did it) and keep Chrome as your other browser (for when you have to shop or make business inquiries) (Download a few more to your desktop, only to be used/exuecuted, in emergency)

2. Make neither your default engine and don't 'import' anything (when new browser asks) unless you really want to.

3. Disable unnecessary programs from running and don't use 'Notepad' to save things, find a safer text editor. Softpedia is a good source for downloads.

4. Use Adblockplus OR Noscript as addons in Firefox. Use Mozilla forums to find the answers !

5. Always depend on good antivirus (free version of Panda/AVG is good for old Windows) and always have a back up computer ready, you can buy a great used pc for about 50 quid. Use lots of different search engines (search ''philb search engines'' - he has some great lists of 100's of them!)

6. Use lots of different search engines and get google off your machines (start> search> google> then delete)

7. Save your work 'in the cloud' at regular intervals or to a memory stick.

8. Virus check pictures before downloading. Pictures can contain 'trojan' or hidden 'macro' viruses that play havoc with your machine.

9. Change browsers often, have five!

10. Learn to use the lovely 'netstat' commands - easy when you can learn to read it properly and saves you from hell on earth!

11.

If you use Firefox, you can learn how to 'toggle' the more invasive and harmful items by VERY carefully altering things - your browser may not work the same way (use the smaller window to type urls) but it will be faster and more private by using the 'toggle' option to change dodgy things from 'true' to 'false' - you do this by going to (in your address bar, type) about:config - and then say 'yes' to 'be careful there are monsters' (or some such message) - then you toggle to ensure things are safe but do it calmly and carefully and very VERY slow! Only change the things you hate, beacon may be one thing.

An example is - some applications keep running after you have unplugged the computer - so you go to about:config > OK > toggle > beacon enabled > false, 'browsercachedisk enable'> false (learn more only at the proper Mozilla site) http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config and test links for safety here -   http://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/newpsychologyuk.blogspot.com this is partly how a stalker infested my other blog (with a macro virus that doesn't always get caught by antivirus software)

Using Linux and 'cloud computing' can help but it's a bit too much for the quaking head case. Having backup can save your sanity.

If you want a small linux based operating system, use one like Puppy Linux, you can download it onto a memory stick. Useful if you only have the one machine for a bit. I did it, not as scary as I thought it would be. You can also buy a top notch, first class operating system preloaded on a stick from Amazon (about 22 quid) if you don't want to download anything.

Thwart the Evil 'THEY' are unplugged!

In Windows, you don't need a lot of the 'services', you can disable lots of things to make things run better, but go very slowly. Turn off your modem from the plug, so you keep your pages open and computer on but you know that 'they' can't connect! If machine is still going bonkers, turn it off and learn how to mourn, but generally > 'Head for the socket' and kill it dead.

Can take years to perfect though, and as most programs are hackable, it's wise to minimise your damage as best as you can.

Always depend on good antivirus and always have a back up computer ready, you can buy a great used pc for about 50 quid (search well)

Using Linux and cloud computing can help but it's a bit too much for the quaking mental.

Viewing video in Youtube using their own html5 page is much better, there's a safe html5 Yotube link (select their own safe link)

Paranoia online can cause good people to harm themselves in numerous ways. It's easily done as we tend to look for 'pack's or tribes, similar to ourselves. The same identity, the same
problems to solve, and we are often drawn to the 'strongest' when we feel weak, the 'devil dog' who is salt-of-the-earth and will fight your corner. Usually though, that type of person, though well-meaning, is usually unbalanced.

If people are successful, they can demonstrate their success in their daily lives. If they are happy, loving and impartial, you probably have a great 'leader'. If they are too pushy, too loud, and too rude, it's likely
they have unresolved mental issues that drive them. Revenge is a damaging motivator, it doesn't help you or the world.

Stirring up upset causes extreme ill health, even wars, and will probably get you locked up and can cause, even death. If you want to fight - fight for impartiality! That's what most judges do - exercise extreme impartiality and calm.

So take the advice here (newpsychologyuk.blogspot.com, but first use a free online URL checker to ensure a link is safe, find a good reliable one) and look for more centred, love-oriented, groups. Even start your own group. Facebook is the best place to try. Pinterest for visual delights.
